Born in California and transplanted in New York City, Jaimie Froemming has been designing costumes for “shows” since her summers at her grandparent’s house as all the cousins put together a big variety show for the adults. Since those early design days in the 1900s, Jaimie has worked in all areas of costuming; theater, theme parks, opera, film, TV, ship shows, circus, Cabaret, and Broadway. She enjoys mashing up genres as much as deep diving into period costume research. With an eclectic style inspired by Thierry Mugler and Eiko Ishioka, Diane Von Furstenberg's simplicity, and Dior's grace, Jaimie brings a fresh spin to ordinary visuals.
In her spare time, Jaimie likes to watch superhero movies and drink fancy coffee with her cats, Kobold & Gerald.
